The Australian Directory of Philanthropy lists around 350 trusts and foundations in Australia. It features tips on how to apply for grants, write submissions as well as tax information. You can buy the directory either as a book (AUS$65) or subscribe to their online service (AUS$75). The online directory provides better ongoing up to date information and so should really be first choice for fundraisers.

If you want to access the directory for free, it is held by a number of Australian Public Libraries. To find out which libraries, visit Libraries Australia and search for “Australian Directory of Philanthropy”.
