Right now I’m focused on

“…an amazing social care charity who do wonderful work and are leading their field – but they are so modest about it, it’s like buried treasure. I’m helping them understand more clearly what their audiences are looking for, to communicate their strengths meaningfully (as opposed to simply broadcasting them) and take ownership of their rightful place at the head of the pack. I’m also working with an international humanitarian charity, as they move into a new overseas market. We’ve been developing the brand for the new division and exploring fresh ways to communicate through things like guerilla marketing. It’s about recruiting hearts and minds, not just pockets.”

How I got to THINK

“I’ve been vegetarian since I was little and my first (temp) job at the Vegetarian Society soon grew into my running the London office full time, working on press, PR and events. My interest in animal welfare took me on to Animal Aid where I was involved in everything from admin to event management, and lots of editorial, comms and media work to support campaigns.

“I really wanted to focus on fundraising communications, so joined the agency world - at Burnett Works and specialist design agency Taylor McKenzie – where I could work with all kinds of causes and organisations. As one of BW’s most experienced account directors I led on more strategic communications projects, as well as fundraising and awareness materials. THINK feels like the culmination of all that experience, which I now get to share with a whole array of amazing charities.”
