Right now I’m focused on

“…one day at a time! Every day is different and we never know what’s coming next. My role is to keep a close eye on everything and make sure all the plates are spinning. We have clients and consultants at work all over the world, which involves international invoicing and contracts too. It’s very satisfying when everything’s ticking along like clockwork.

“I’m also involved with any new developments: at the moment I’m working with one of our consultants to set up THINK Interim, a new initiative offering temporary, experienced managers at all levels across the sector.”

How I got to THINK

“Teaching drama was my first port of call. When I started to look for wider horizons I went to work for Help the Aged, which was a real hot-house for training at a crucial time in fundraising development. I began as a fundraiser in schools and grew to national management of the community fundraising team.

“Then I was a fundraising consultant for several years, often managing teams and focusing on trusts and foundations. When THINK first began I carried on in that role initially but found myself drawn more to the business management side, which I enjoy enormously.”
