Tony Elischer, FInstF (Cert), Managing Director

Tony is the founder of THINK Consulting Solutions. He has 22 years hands-on experience in the sector, covering leading roles in national and international not-for-profit organisations and consultancies. He has been a consultant for the last nine years working across a wide range of causes and organisations.

He is an internationally regarded expert on marketing, fundraising and creativity, having extensive experience of helping organisations worldwide with strategy, communications, fundraising, management and troubleshooting. He has worked on every continent actively pioneering THINK’s international insight and strategy work, engaging with not-for-profit organisations, funders, regulators and international umbrella organisations.

His consulting covers projects of a global nature, ranging from complete strategy development and individual fundraising technique introduction, to review and audits of market operations and new market entries. In the UK, he mentors several charity chief executives and directors and leads a wide variety of THINK’s client assignments at a tactical and strategic level. He is particularly known for his creativity and originality in approaching fundraising opportunities and challenges.

Tony is an accomplished presenter and trainer delivering numerous plenaries at all the leading fundraising conferences of the world on a regular basis; as well as running innovative and dynamic seminars and training programmes. As an author he has contributed several chapters to books and numerous articles, including a monthly column in the magazine Professional Fundraising. Internationally, he is on the board of the Journal of Non-profit and Voluntary Sector Marketing, the Resource Alliance and is former chair of the International Fundraising Congress. He is a Fellow of the UK’s Institute of Fundraising.
