THINK’s IoF Convention Community presentations now available online..

We hope you all enjoyed the IoF National Convention held in London this week….we certainly did! Three of our consultants were presenting this year and as part of our commitment to sharing knowledge and information, we thought we’d let you take another (or indeed first!) look at what was presented over the three days.

COMMUNITY STRATEGIC PLANNING

THINK’s Senior Consultant Simon Burne presented two superb sessions on community fundraising strategy at the IoF Convention this year. You can view the presentations below:

Translating strategy and budgets into people-based KPIs – One of the perennial challenges facing community fundraisers is the balance between financial targets and delivering organisational objectives. Non-financial KPIs often get ignored as the necessities of delivering short term budget targets kick in. The RNLI has developed ways of translating strategy into people-based KPIs. This session looked at these methods and considered how they can be adapted for wider use.

Dead easy: strategic tools that deliver real results – This fun and involving session provided participants with a range of tools to apply directly to developing effective strategies that deliver real results. All the tools have been tried and tested and have been proven to work. Not all of them will be right for you but you’re guaranteed to come away with some tools that you’ll want to use straight away.

Presentations will also be available to convention participants via the IoF’s website in due course.
